"Grammy Reads to Me Videos" are awesome gifts for children. We start out with close family and write a page or so about each person and include a picture. Then, we branch out farther into the family and record family lore and fun stories. We include as many pictures as we can. Seeing the resemblances in family members is neat for little ones. When the book is finished, we laminate and bind it, age appropriately. Very small children get our soft book, teens, hard back, and adults leather bound hand tooled. We then record on video or DVD the grandparent reading the story to the child. This is a special favorite of families that can not get together as frequently as they would like. When missing Grammy or Granddaddy, the child can pop in the video and read along with them. This project holds a duel role in preserving family history.
